Lol I wonder if you can swap out all your vital organs every 50 years or so to continue living a long time but you can't have children if you live for ages.

:S It seems weird and I highly doubt that will ever happen at ANY time in the future
Well we already have an idea that can theoretically be implemented so you can live longer

There's a cell or protein or something on your DNA that prevents it from fraying, and as time passes the stuff goes away. If you can get it replaced, which is theoretically possible, you can live for much longer.

This is all iirc

Yeah, I think that what you mean is a certain genome that speeds up aging. To test the effects, scientists disabled it in mice and they lived 40% longer iirc. So the genom doesn't protect you, but it acctually speeds up the process of aging and can be disabled.
Thanks for the Avatar, MrAakash
Technology is always ever evolving, so it's so hard to predict it sometimes because we almost never know, but it grows SO fast that we don't even notice it. Only ten years ago was 2001, and we've come already such a LONG way since then--it's almost unbelievable.

Here are some internet articles regarding technology in the next few years:
1. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB120119369144313747.html - a WSJ article written in 2008...and we've already accomplished much of what they had already predicted!
2. http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology...charles.google - Google in 10 years in which they already have come a LONG way since
3. http://www.onlineitdegree.com/ - and everything you learned in the past with your IT degree....everything to be taught will be completely new and up to date with the current technology
4. http://techiezone.in/featured/micros...y-in-10-years/ - another huge company as Microsoft plans for the next ten years

All we can do is sit back and see what happens in this exciting world of technology.
