I have some doubts about Steam game exchanges. How does it works?

I'm only familiar with PS3 game exchanging through accounts, but Google should get you some nice answers.

For those who have a Xbox 360 Wireless Controller For Windows, I found a way of turning off the controller. Well, if you don't have it you may think that it has a turn off/on button right? Nope, it doesn't. Unless you play a "Games For Windows Live" game, you won't be able to turn off your controller, giving you 2 options: Taking off the batteries(seriously, don't do that) or waiting 10 minutes( good bye batteries). I'm giving you the third one.

2- Double-Click and check if you see an icon on system tray(or whatever these icons near the clock are called in english).
3- If you want to turn it off, hold the Xbox Center Button until a pop up appears.
4- Press A button. If you accidentally pressed, press B button.

Reminds me of those calculators where I even struggle to find the OFF button, or it's either hidden somewhere or some sort of wierd combination, like shit I'm turning off a calculator, not playing Street Fighter.

Except you could atleast turn them off. Fortunatly I use Logitech GamePad 2.

That reminds me of the dancing pad's code. Most of the new dancing pads have an activation code. But guess what? Some boxes come without the code. Without the code, the dancing pad doesn't work. 120 dollars for nothing.


P.S.: The code is Arrow Up + Select + Start for 5 secs.
