Time to spice this topic up again

Maybe instead of bitching about arguing, you should go out into the real world and try to express your views, accumulate people who follow your beliefs, and try and get those necessary reforms. Either that, or leave the country.
Well, arguing is interesting. Maybe not so much on this forum, but since it was brought up....why not :P
You don't really have to get into politics to have 'some' impact. (blog, podcast, website, a column in a newspaper, a post on political forum...) It all pales in comparison to actually getting high up into politics, but it's something.
With that said, while it is believable that a government would blatantly lie to trick a country (see the English receiving a "transmission" back in World War I or II, I think. That's how the US got into the war), there's no proof that the government was at all involved. On the contrary, there's quite a bit of evidence to suggest the opposite. If you actually think that George W Bush is smart enough to plan out something this devious, then you're stupider than he is.
Any inquisitive person can't help but try to apply deductive method for themselves: who benefits the most? who needs this?
If (for example) Bush administration really did orchestrate 9/11, what concrete evidence could possibly present itself in this case? A tape with secret meeting of Bush administration?
Here's a quote from Michel Chossudovsky, a writer from
globalresearch.ca (independent site)
"The myth of the "outside enemy" and the threat of "Islamic terrorists" was the
cornerstone of the Bush administration’s military doctrine, used as a pretext to invade Afghanistan and Iraq, not to mention the repeal of civil liberties and constitutional government in America.
Without an "outside enemy", there could be no "war on terrorism". The entire national security agenda would collapse "like a deck of cards". The war criminals in high office would have no leg to stand on.
It was consequently crucial for the development of a coherent antiwar and civil rights movement, to reveal the nature of Al Qaeda and its evolving relationship to successive US administrations. Amply documented but rarely mentioned by the mainstream media, Al Qaeda was a creation of the CIA going back to the Soviet-Afghan war. This was a known fact, corroborated by numerous sources including official documents of the US Congress. The intelligence community had time and again acknowledged that they had indeed supported Osama bin Laden, but that in the wake of the Cold War: "he turned against us"."
This article I'm posting is just to give insight to some people on
why many think 9/11 was suspicious.
Of course, at the end, you will probably just believe what you are most comfortable with, as is the case with people most of the time.
