try to shade with the side of your pencil tip.
You are drawing too wide lines for a finished piece, also try to shade with colors.

While your shading is decent, it is a bit misplaced.
I recommend you to try to add some background if you decide to do some art and upload it on for example "DeviantArt".
Since the main focus is the character, don't make the background to detailed.
Your linework is a little bit to thick on the clothes.
