well for one thing a stick is rather small and you really only poke people with it (or in veb's case, unleash hellish wrath), but a hammer... hurts...

A hammer is hella heavy too. *Drops ban hammer*......*Picks up ze ban stickz*...oh yeah, I stole this too, boy, I have sticky fingers lately.
