this seems it is a lot of work for little outcome and i think that not even half of the people in this thread (including me) won't even be able to afford it, and for those that do, your eventually going to get that dick that puts porn or other messed up shit as their texture.

Not sure if this has been suggested before, but I just came up with this. Not sure if it would cause the game to lag or it would be too much content to download at the begging of every match. I'm thinking of a special GIF Head texture item worth quite a bit and have a small limit on the size the gif could be. This would allow transformation heads to happen or even putting on various heads into a gif. Opinions please.

I'd like this, it would cost a lot but it would go well with some heads. I cant see it being that hard to implement either. (but i could be wrong)

I think this is pretty cool but only small things cuz in servers you would get loads of lag . I was thinking this myself for a while but never went into discussion about it

Actually, This got me thinking Why not a gif leg tex ect? Maybe even joint textures!? id say the price on these would be a bit tho but its still a cool thing ;-)

It'd be better as a frame by frame situation, but it'd probably put a strain on some people's internets depending on what the file size limit was. Like imagine downloading a 512 head that was animated for like 200 frames, and doing that every time you face a new player.
It'll put a strain on some people's internet, because not everyone has mlg swag internet.
tbh, I'd limit it so that heads couldn't be more then like 2 or 3 times as large as regular 512 heads are. So long as it's reasonable it'd be cool.

i support this to an extent, if they can make it so that blinking lights and scan lines on visors are possible, maybe face expressions then i support this. but earlier today in tf2 i rounded a corner and was surprised to see gif spray on a wall taken straight from a porn site, and i'd hate to see this in toribash. but if it can be moderated, it would be awesoeme, id love to see some moving robot textures

As long as the gif isn't constantly going insane to the point that it makes the game lag and/or distract a player to much. Then I like it.

I've seen some flames that are practically GIFs themselves, if there are restraints on how big the GIF is then surely it would be fine for all. It seem's like a good idea with limitations ofcourse
