Actually ROM hacking is barely illegal, and no one has ever been fined for it if the ROM was free. I haven't checked this but if anyone wants to go ahead I'm gona go out on a limb and say I'm right.

It's only unlawful if you make money off it really, there are other ways as well, but honestly with the amount we are going to edit only a few hundred (out of a few thousand) will be used, and only the source which will also be edited... plus this is a very low distribution, so we aren't devaluing the product, or making money off it, so it's not violating copy right enough for anyone to care

And maybe make a House island thing, a key item you get given sometime near the end of the game

Machete could be used for cutting down grass. And the Glock.. It's useless.

Stealing is a good idea. A remake of the game aimed for a slighty older audience would be great.
Dump Team Rocket, make them like a mafia organization or something.

You should make some nice, original cities. Perhaps a city where everyone stays inside because everywhere has long grass so it's full of monsters :x

Actually that's not a bad idea, however not exactly original, check out the ghost town in blue/red/yellow.
