Which render program did u use?

Its done in cinema 4d.(R11.5)

Some of these things help with doing realistic renders:

Global illumination.
Hdri lighting and reflections (image used as light source)This most important for photo realism
ambient occlusion
bump and normal mapping
depth of field blur

The edge of the one with the hole aimed at the one that looks is very smooth but not completely and the texture is visible on the inside otherwise its oerfect.
Katana

Nothing spectacular or special, just simply a katana modelled and rendered with
LightWave[7.5], textures done with Photoshop 7.0.
The hane looks really nice

I don't think the curve is quite right though, to me it looks like it should start closer to the guard.

I dont like the wavy purple thing either :S Try just putting it on a stand or something :3

Great work!
Nice work on that katana..i think the detail in the modelling and texturing are spot on.

An abstract image i made in cinema4d:

talking about my earlier 'beer can' image

Aaah thats because i always try to keep things as low poly as possible .better for rendering times. maybe 1 more subdivision would have been better for a still image you are right. there is some noticable edges there..i kind of thought it would not be noticable through the camera blur.

I hadnt really noticed the inner texture there, my monitor was set a little dark.
