Sorry if this has already been asked, but I've looked through this thread and can't find an answer to this question. Someone else made a head texture, and I bought it from them, and I have the TinyPic link of the texture. Now from here where do I go about getting it on my Tori? He kinda explained in brief but I didn't understand.

Could anybody post a tutorial for the creation of head textures in the program "gimp 2.6" the ones on YouTube are terrible quality and overall difficult to follow.

I've always been interested in art my whole life and I'm getting okay-ish with designing the heads I just need some help with the technical stuff, E.G. file types, recommended quality (pixels) for the head etc. I've been learning what I can with this stuff in school but a straight forward tutorial would be really helpful.
