well this seemed the most appropriate place to put this so... instead of spending five hours on the phone with some arabian guy who doesnt know english i'll ask here. My AVG 8.5 firewall will not start and it will not update. I have a legal code for it and it used to run but now it wont with the same OS install. I hope that's enough to help somebody help me.

Reinstall, error check, virus scan. If none of this works then get a better firewall. Like ZoneAlarm.
