Your graphics card still can't run with shaders on ?

1. Make sure you have the latest drivers for your graphics card (can be downloaded from the card manufacturer's website)

2. NEW: Toribash 3.051 fix for Windows

3. If it fails:
Please post here what graphics card and operating system you have:
For Windows: Go to start, then the Run command, enter dxdiag
For Mac: Click the apple icon, go to "About This Mac" and click more Info. You should see it under hardware->Graphics/Displays

Toribash freezes ?
Please let it run for a bit. in some cases switching to shaders after the game started causes it to freeze for a bit.

Toribash crashes ?
The file stderr.txt, which is in the folder you installed Toribash to, can help us know what the problem is.
If it contains the message 'SDL parachute deployed' , please make sure you have the latest version of the drivers for your graphics card. (Can be downloaded from the manufacturer's website)

it freezes
Nvidia GeForce FX 5500

when I put "1" in the "shaders=0" space and press "enter" it freazes for a bit then goes back to normal without shaders. Oh and my graphics card is:
Mobility Radeon X600 128mb

and the stderr reads:

Thanks, finally got them work. Seems that soft shadows + fluid blood were killing it.

Thank you so much for fixing the libcurl problem! The only thing is, shaders don't work for me either. I have the same problem macturtle does. : /

i have intel GMA 950 and i still can't run shaders, i put everything at 0, fluid blood reflections and soft shadows, and it still doesn't run, i try to put everything exept shaders back at 1, they all go back to 0 exept fluid blood, and that doesn't change, the number changes but the blood is still exacly the same

With shaders actually runs at lower fps than it does with 3.01.
I've allowed it to idle for about 15 minutes, so I'm pretty sure it's not head's downloading.
Plus the volume always sets to 0 when I close.

It worked for me , but i had to disable soft shadows to be able to start it with shaders.....
Also when i enable Fluid Blood it starts laggin me like shit lol...but that doesnt really bother me ... Shaders At LAST!!!!!!

whats the curl problem, and it seems that my gfx card (ATI Radeon X1600) works perfectly well with shaders with no slowdowns or fps drops or lags from my end

Just thought i'd inform you...

Soft shadows freezes for me.
fluid blood makes my 50-60 fps down to 2fps. And sometimes does something very odd. i'll post a screenie in a minute..
