Proof of shoop? Keep in mind that everything in the photo was possible to have in the 1940s with the possible exception of the glasses (recangular instead of circular) and the camera (although it would appear to be a camera from 1936)

Wow, this is pretty nice. Its hard to say weather its shopped or not. I guess Ill try something similar, and see if it comes out as well. Very interesting, though.

Hmm. The artist was curious? I have crazy PS ideas on a regular basis, this could have been one.
Who did it is not very relevant, because we don't know if its actually shopped. =P

Edit:
Ok, Ive tried to PS a rapper into an older picture. xP

Ok, so Im not very good with PS. But, I think this picture could pass for semi-realistic. I think its plausible that your pic was shopped, m0o.

IMO its probably a guy who was working on the bridge or dropped by after work, took of his hat, left his goggles on etc. This is sort of what work clothes looked like in the 1940s. He totally has welder hair

Well, after a bit of research, Ive concluded that either this picture isnt legit, or the guy was time traveling. The goggles/glasses hes wearing were not at all in the construction attire of a worker in the 1930s-1950s.

This picture was taken in April of 43'.
If any goggles were to be worn, it they would have looked more like that.
If he were trying to protect his eyes from the sun, it would have been more customary to wear a hat, with a 360 degree bill.

BTW, sorry if im taking this too seriously.
Thanks.
Those glasses were aroudn since the 1920s and even the mt everest expedition featured goggles of the sort.

A formal hat would not have been available if he had been working on the bridge or just come from work (suggested by his poorly shaven state and/or dirt on his face)

He could also be a hipster (and thus want to stand out). DIY was fairly common back in the day, etc.

glasses from the 30's. you people are acting like its some glaring thing but i dont see any problem with the picture at all.
