As some of you might know, we now have our own IRC server. Not a channel like we used to.

For those in mIRC, say this in the mIRC main window:

/server -m asia.toribash.com 6667 -j #toribash

For those in irssi, do:

/connect asia.toribash.com 6667
/join #toribash

You'll have to recreate your clan channels and such.

Do /msg Chanserv help for more info.

Also you'll have to do /msg NickServ register <password> <e-mail>, without the <>.


That being said, join and populate the server already.

Whats the benefit using own irc-server?

More customisation, easier access, more moderating capacity on the admin's part.

NickServ and ChanServ.

Lots of access level settings.

Awesomeness.

Not to mention that its away from the crowd of spammers/ and other people on the Quakenet ... This is away and like a separate world.
