I have been trying multiple ways to play multiplayer, and I thought that the servers were acting funky but now I know that it wont let me connect. I have Zone Alarm and if tried just about everything and it still wont let me connect.

ok im a bit confused on what u said but ill help as much as possible,

if u think Zone Alarm is stopping u connecting try going into the permissions list in Zone alarm and add Toribash to the allowed list

other issues connecting to servers might be
1:the certain server is down
2:you are banned
3: the version of toribash your using is incompatible

happend to me too, i have zone alarm too, i just allowed toribash to access the internet.

could i maybe for some completely unknown and unfair reason be banned? im using 3.01 i think. i can join wiht that cuz i got the same problem logging in. see my thread

then u need to get 3.06 to make sure u dont get as many problems

yea problem getting it. downlaod always times out from this site after a min or so. some1 has to send it to me over msn or what ever. um yea i can log in now. recoil dude do you use the xact details that you use to log in to the forums. same password same name and everything.... good luck. if thats the problem

I've used the exact name and password on the forum in the game but it continues to says " Lost contact with server."

I let it access to the net and I have the latest version.

I really want to play because of all the new features plus Im an old schooler so I never had this problem before.

Your internet connection is evidently working, and coupled with the other (fixed) factors I'm struggling to see what the problem might be. Are you running Toribash through a proxy or something similar?

this is what my log looks like it says something was blocked by ZoneAlarm so I turned it off for a half second and tried to play and I still get the same problem.

never mind I figured out my problem I had to turn ZoneAlarm off for a second longer than I thought and it let me connect
