I did all the steps needed to get a head into the game- i made a folder named my ingame name and i put the TGA head file inside it- but when i started up the game, it didn't show. I tried again after an hour but it still wouldn't show for some reason D:

Any suggestions on what to do?

Are you just testing the head or do you want other people to see it?

And do you already have a head texture?

A: I'm just testing the head and B: No, not yet but this wasn't a problem in earlier versions :/ and if i rename a head folder that was already inside the custom area to ragdollmaster, it shows up in-game. For some reason my custom head won't...

when u save it u have to make sure to disable RLE compression. I can tell you have it enabled by the filesize.

...and GIMP automatically compresses TGAs without asking you first. Also, the converter site is down - well, not down, but bugging. So I've got no idea what you could do.

same happens to me when I want to test my selfmade heads ingame ^^
You lose your head all the time when you just put the head into your folder because you didn't upload the head and that means you have no head and that means it disappears all the time.

Actually i got it fixed. I picked "save as" in GIMP and disabled RLE compression and the other button ( origin appears in the something, i forget :P ) Anyways problem solved, thread can be locked.

Actually, if you didn't upload a head texture at all, and you put a head texture to test how it will appear, it won't get deleted. so you can test that way before uploading.
If you try to test a new head texture but you have one that you uploaded before, it will get overwritten.
To prevent it from being overwritten , just disconnect from the internet before starting toribash.
