That happens when you enter the 'ground'.
Happens pretty often with your feet in high gravity mods.

Saw this a few times. noticed it before 3.0 came out. One part on noweb three point oh, i remember i could see something black come out of the floor i was like "WTF?"

Its the reflection.

When I was making a mod I made an object which is slanted and half-way through the ground then I put on shaders and the reflections and then I saw a black thing coming out. I looked at the reflection and then I saw that the black thing was part of it.
