Video Ref or More officials
Most sports have them and as you can see football would be much better if they did have this system

i see for the next world cup they were discussing that they should just have 2 more officials standing at the back of each net...

what do you think should they imply this system or have the 2 officials?
idk if that really will help i mean mistakes can happen look at Wimbledon
and btw a ref is just a human too so .....

the ref is human, but he has all of this technology helping him that he didnt use therefor he is not just a human. but the definition of an idiot. but yes there should be a video for te ref to consult
She/They

Yeah, I only don't like erthtkv2 because of the mod's name. Make it "tkv2," and the mod will instantly become more popular. This is a valid reason as the name of the mod is still an important feature that no one seems to have yet discussed.
why dont they put the 2 officials on the video material, slowmotion multiple angle observation makes for far better conclusions then 3 or 5 men without it.

But i think they would not really want it because people actually like people cheating and kicking eachother in the groin in the most sneaky ways. Rage like that can boost the pase of a game dramatically or turn it in an all out karate fest. A "friend" of mine who played soccer actually told me that grabbing eachother ass or sneakily kicking someone in the leg is a way to taunt someone so they try and get you back, then you just wait for that moment to fall as dramatically as you can. ( silly dirty tactics ) to me it has nothing to do with sport.

I cant even see any other reason why they have not yet put all the technological advances to good use like that.

For me watching ( enjoying ) soccer ended when referees stopped whistling for grabbing shirts if it wasnt as long as 3 seconds. Putting this system and the officials to good use ( in whatever sport ) would be a great improvement to me.
"I dissaprove of what you say, but i will defend to the death your right to say it"
The fact that FIFA outright refuse to integrate technology into their refereeing system just strikes me as enormously anti-progressive and downright illogical. Having a reliable system to judge games on an international level would avoid embarrassments such as the referees terrible call in today's England vs Germany match, as well as making the game more enjoyable for everyone involved. I just don't see why they refuse to install some sort of system. It's not as if they don't have the money...
Quit, probably.
There was also a clearly offside goal allowed in Argentina vs Mexico which could've changed the whole pace of the game, Mexico were dominant up to that point
England only conceded 2 more goals while trying desperately to score an equaliser, which wouldn't have happened had that goal gone in.
One strike can change the whole pace of a game and FIFA need to realise that we live in an age very capable of supplying the referees with information needed to make informed decisions.

The fact they're just saying "no" and coming up with bullshit reasons to justify events as they happen, henry's handball for example, is completely retarded. I hope FIFA open their eyes and realise how easy it would be to even make a small step such as adding an extra official who watches the replays and gives feedback on decisions. Football is such a huge industry they can very easily afford to upgrade their refereeing style to incorporate technology

For those of you (TheAnimal in particular) who don't think it will help... I really don't understand how you can have that opinion. If you have a video referee then mistakes like England's disallowed goal CANNOT happen. How can you not comprehend this?

If you're playing for fun, what theyre doing now is fine.

The world cup should have been using video refs ages ago.
I say technology should be used in these situations. Another situation they should be used for would be something like the controversial koman Couilibaly (sp?) call and "on the edge" offsides situations. I don't think they should rely too heavily on technology.. mostly because I want the game to be 90-100 minutes max. Including additional time (and in this case technological goal review).
rugby, cricket, american football etc etc etc use video refs, there is no reason why it shouldnt be implimented...
