This is really a guitar oriented thread, I wanted to make it favorite instrumental solos, but that's so broad it's ridiculous. I like to hear originality in solos, and they have to be memorable. Mindless shredding doesn't impress me because sure, it takes talent, but it's not something recognizable and something that you can just love.
Pink Floyd - Another brick in the wall part 2
Solo starts at around 2:10
I absolutely love almost all Pink Floyd solos, they just tend to inspire me and just are beautiful.
Blue On Black - Kenny Wayne Shepherd
Solo starts at about 3:11
I've always loved this solo, it's just great. (since the video is the live version it's just a bit different, but still awesome)
Sorry if a thread like this has already been made :v

One of my all-time favourite solos. IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL D':
This solo is just absolutely beautiful (at 5:00):
If you love shredding (Solo starts at 2:00, but I really recommend watching from the beginning or at least 1:23 cos the build up for it is pretty sick):
More shredding (5:58, or go back a bit for a pretty sweet keyboard solo):
This solo give me the chills everytime I hear it (24:59):
