At The Drive-In is a post-punk band my dad recently showed me... I think they're awesome. Your opinions?

They're not a post-punk band, they're post-hardcore. I'm not really a fan though. I prefer The Mars Volta which has a few of the same members.

I'm pretty sure they're post punk but you probably know a lot more about music than I do...
Also, I like Volta, it's the same singer, right?

Wiki says they're punk rock, so I guess we're both wrong. It's got the same singer and guitarist.

I know a few songs. One armed scissor was the first. They're pretty good. I like the mars Volta too. I'm seeing them next month with soundgarden.

Atdi's definitely post hardcore, regardless of what wiki says. Punk Rock's more like Simple Plan and the Wonder Years. But yeah, Atdi; my most favourite band. I disliked Mars Volta actually, too mexican for me.
