Router Help
I don't know where to post this so, sorry before hand.

My routers power cord is frayed so bad I have to hot glue it, and hold it in place for it to work. If it is stepped on the Internet Connection shuts off, and it takes me about an hour to get it setup again. I do not have a spare power cord and I'm not allowed to go into town to buy a new one. We have a Roomba (robot vacuum cleaner) that uses an iRobot charger. The cord for this fits in perfectly with the router and works. Is there any harm or damages that can be made from using this?
it might not be getting the correct amount of voltage or amperage, in which case it might shut down from overheating or it might do even worse and end up killing your router. you should be able to look at the power block that plugs into the wall and read the amount of volts and amps it's giving to your device and check it with the router's power block to make sure they're compatible.
You don't say?
