Well, i often go to Quick: Akido, games. Sometimes i see people shovel and the other person says it is against the rules, is this true?

It's a move you can use but people just rage over it so yeah, I think shoveling is allowed.

Shoveling isn't against the rules. Some people just get mad when you use the move because it's difficult to counter. Don't worry Slem it's allowed.

It's just another move. There is no rule against using it. Lots of players look down upon it because it seems so cheap. In reality it is just a simple but super-effective move.

Well, there are no rules (except for the ones specific to a mod, but you break those and you loose). Shoveling in my mind is pathetic and unneeded. With that said, it is also very easy to counter and is completely "legal". The point of the game is to win, which is what shoveling can allow one to do.

If you use the move, you won't be getting a ban of any sort. Just be prepared for the trolls.

You can avoid shoveling by knowing your enemy.
If you do know he is about to shovel, aim directly to his shoulders.
That will be a super-counter attack
