*sigh*
A fair few people are a little fed up with the community acting like a bunch of 10 year olds. Unlike in primary school, we aren't paid to be your friends.* Some of you people also try to take the rules into your own hands, which is kinda annoying. Let's take a recent*** example, some guy was hacked** because he was apparently calling someone else gay. The latter was getting fed up, therefore, he logged in as the other user to post spam. Which we admins/mods hate.
So, he ruins user A's reputation. He also makes our jobs more annoying. We REALLY hate that. We can tolerate spam, gives us a reason to ban you without question. Spamming AND making our jobs harder, no thanks.
This is not a primary school, as I've said, we aren't paid to be your friends. We (admins/mods) are here to make sure the rules are enforced. We're here to NOT be your friends, if you dislike the rules. You may have recently noticed we're being a bit harsher with the infractions. This is because we're getting tired of having to sift through bunches of shit you people call posts. I am asking for a slight bit of a general intelligence increase, and having you people read the rules, AGAIN. If you want to be a general moron, go to IRC. Go to #outside on IRC, we don't care what you do there, not even a little.
So please, post with good grammar, correct spelling, common sense, stay on topic, report posts that don't follow the rules instead of flaming them, don't flame, etc. Really. We'd really, REALLY appreciate it. At least, me and veb would. Also, please don't try to do our job for us. If you're meant to do our job, you'd have our position. Your job in the moderation is to use the report button.
*: Most of us aren't paid at all.
