I actually like this idea as this will solve the confusion for players about GMT. I personally think this idea is great and should be implemented.

Just use IRC if you want times .

Adding this would make your name longer ingame , especially if your in a clan , which is never good , it could get in the way during a fight , this is why the character cap is there when you make a new account.
Imagine someone with a long name and a clan tag , plus the time.

Just using that as an example , even though he isn't apart of that clan.

Anyways , i believe this idea could be useful in areas such as scam reports

In all i'm not quite sure whether to support this or not , the added amount of space it would take up on screen may be overly exaggerated by me a little i guess.

I'm not sure as to how it would affect the other in the community , as i have a small name right now ,aswell as my main, so a change like this wouldn't really bother me.

I guess that's pretty long , along with the mod "~" , but i guess this may all be frivolous.
It'd be better if i let someone else voice their opinions on the matter .
I think it's just a matter of choice/preference, as persons would probably get annoyed if someone with a long name, tag and the time next to their name were to join a server and talk alot , hence , blocking a lot of the gameplay , but i could be wrong.

But its just the length of the name,it is'nt blocking the whole screen.This would be useful for some of those people who lie what time it is.

Another idea would be to put it behind the flags. I think that would be more relevant.

IRC has that for a reason. People just stay silent in a room and play while talking on IRC.

I know a guy named "mynameisnazzern", wouldn't want that.


As for making the name short, we would constantly have to ask who said that.\

if my friend omega90 and I, shortened our names to OMEGA... Well. Yeah.

People with extremely long names wouldn't allow it.

Lying about time is irrelevant, because they have their GMT, you have yours.
