The in-game Torishop already lets you try on stuff and you can see how your Tori looks before buying, which is awesome. This could be made to work so you could try on anything purchasable, wether it be art, flames, etc...

Many people have asked to be able to do this. And we are so close to already having it. It just needs to be all connected. To be one.

Side note:

I think that the forums and the game should be found in one place, and should be viewed as one. By clicking the Toribash icon, you are taken to the game, and from within the game, you find the forums. They "are" one. Perhaps, there could be tabs, allowing to quickly switch between forums and game.

So pretty much... Put Toribash on steam?.... Seems legit... Seems like it's already happening but alright.

You can already try flames on with the flame browser. Pretty easy to use.

Textures would be impossible without a texture database. That would again be almost impossible unless every single artist and seller agreed to use the database to distribute their textures.

It may be good, except for the forum part. I think only the ToriShop and the market should have access from in-game.

That is already a method of previewing textures, but i think an universal texture database would be a little tricky. Of course you could like... upload your textures to an online database where you could preview it in-game. But it could be tricky for programmers you know.

Ok, let's look at this head on. Yes, I can see how a database is required for this to work, but in a sense, we already have this database. All art is uploaded to a Toribash database before we can activate it, so perhaps, it is just in "how" this database is organized and used.

All art to be traded could be uploaded into this database, by its creator/owner. There could be a way to keep it together into "sets", the same way we do with all the other stuff. Artists/art owners would keep these sets in their deactivated. Artists could still sell their art on the market, providing a link that would allow buyers to try on these sets in "Free Play", using the same system as we already do when we /dl /lp 0 "". This way, we would not need to upload tons of pics when trying to sell, flames and art, because we'd be able to rotate, and move the tori as we please, and get a close look at what we are buying.

Then, once we agree on a price with the seller, he sends a pm that has a "buy it now" button, with the pre-agreed amount set in, we click buy, the tc's are transferred to the seller, and the items/art are sent to the buyer automatically. Loads of scams would be eliminated by implementing this.

Then, you could also activate/deactivate entire art sets in one click.

This would make trading art so much easier and safer.

Flames should also be added right in the shop in one of the scroll buttons.Many players don't know flames exist.
