I've suggested it in the past on a interview but never suggested it formally.

The threads of the beta releases get a bit clogged with "good job keep it up" and such posts.
The threads in the news section are even worse
Different timezones from hampa, and the fact that it's quite impractical make direct bug report on IRC difficult.
I'd expect his message box in the forum to be clogged to hell with spam.


This problem may not be the only reason why we have bugs that persist on multiple succeeding versions, but it certainly isn't making it any easier.


Maybe a strict clean-up job on the Beta Releases subforum.
Or a quite visible "Bug Report" button on the forum that issues messages directly to devs, with some moderator job to filter similar bug reports and prevent the same thing getting reported over and over again consecutively.
Maybe someone cleaning hampa's PM box.


I didn't think through a precise solution for it, this is just to stress the fact that it is needed.

I have an idea that may or may not work with what you have. Toribash records what you are doing always (Video wise, its saved to your folder), though it only saves the last 10 minutes, so with each passing minute it deletes the very last minute saved onto your computer. Only you can access the files and you can easily retrieve them for scam reports, bugs, and reporting scam/flaming/arguments and whatnot. Just a small idea I had and probably not the smartest, but it could solve many things and its probably more reliable and easy than pictures.

Oh and they save in minute format, so theres always 10 files of 1 minute videos, or more files if you so choose rather than just 10.

Quickest and probably best solution would be to have a public bug reports thread, maybe right here in suggestions.

Okay so, as it stands, there is no official way to report bugs and glitches found in either the game or the site. Reporting it to the devs via pm/IRC/email is unreliable and a pain. This is quite frankly stupid.
The board that needs to be added into the support category:

Forum Viewing Permissions:

The perms should be similar to this for users, that way people can report security issues openly without worrying about leaking it to people that it does not concern.

Help squad(Since they moderate the support category) and developers+ should have full access to this board, if other staff need to report a bug/glitch they can do so directly to the dev board.

My hopes for this is that more issues will be brought to the devs attention and thus might actually be fixed(Heh, as if.)

Well, just an idea that almost all other self respecting online-communities have already implemented.

If this has already been suggested, then I apologise for the duplicate thread, I'm too poor to pay to search and don't have the kind of time to search through this board manually. I just searched google and found this thread, so I am bumping it because this is kinda a needed thing :v
