Try making both sides symmetrical so they meet up and connect, after that do what raaage said maybe.

Add facial features.
Any kind of patterns or vague shapes that look face-ish.

Symmetry on realistic heads are horrible ideas.

I personally think you should change the green to red for blood.
then make it into a hood.

You could ignore all those dumb posts and do something crazy like this. Use that texture up there as background and add things to it.
