So I plan on hosting an event, and I read on the rules that you can charge admission but can't make profit off of the event. I was just wondering if say I paid an artist 1k to make the banners for the event, would I be able to take 1k out of the entrance fee?

What if the event generates more cash than the setup costs? Is he required to give the TC to a staff member so they can sink it?
