Hiya, Im wondering if anybody knows any good free programs for making art?

Well, the best place for someone to start is GIMP. Quite alot of people use that, and it's 100% free

Hmm, as Skylarrr said, GIMP's one of the bests programs to make art. But if you want to make texture sets, I'd say the best one is Mudbox.

GIMP and Surely, Paint :v

Photoshop CS6 or the last version of Gimp or also Adobe Art Studio if i said good.

I use paint.net for heads like most of my heads now (my avatar = head)
It's kind of fun creating your own, i recommend gimp or Paint tool sai

Also, Azzeffir. photoshop isn't free.

MSPaint is the basic, if you can draw a good cat in MSPaint, you are likely to become a good cat artist

Otherwise, photoshop can give you pens that will make the sides so blurry that not even Michael Jackson can moonwalk through the blur
