What if there as a way to send messages to your friends ingame? Like a cross server whisper.

supported, steam and third party stuff cant compare to something like this.
I don't like military time, I prefer metric or imperial.

Steam or No Steam I never said it I avoided a good idea but it wasn't an excuse. May be I'd suggest toribash to make a system basically for the online players... or it would be good if they just added that buddy and by able to interact with him on and offline.
