Ok, I thought I would create a light hearted slightly silly thread to give people something to do.

Who can write the best poem? It isn't really a competition and nobody is going to be judging anything but try your best anyway. I would appreciate it if you tried to keep to a traditional structure and only use free verse if you have too. (maybe haikus or limericks are a good start).

I would advise keeping it light hearted and if you can to include some humour as well. I basically just want to see how poetic we are as a gaming community.

I shall start:
I really hope this thread isn't too random.
but recently I have found that most threads seldom
offered lighthearted fun,
but once this has begun,
we should easily get rid of this boredom.

I kinda wish the 3rd and 4th line were shorter to fit better with the traditional limerick style where they are as short as possible, but it's a start.
