i was dancing when i suddenly wanted to continue my video
I STARTED after effects and then did some work then got back to toribash to create some more videos
THEN MY explorer crashed i tried to open task manger DIDNT WORK nothing worked but when i alt-tabed i saw after effects open ....I saved my work then restarted my comptuer because i coudlnt do shit.I was stuck in a purple screen
after the restart i opened my project and this happendI am currently doing a recovery hoping to find some shit
Anyway i want help

Look like after effects replaced the file but couldnt complete the save process
and no i forgot to enable autosave

Some video editing programs and 3d programs have emergency file save system, should be in documents/aftereffects/projects or documents/After_Effects_Crash_1.aep or somewhere around that location, exact location depends on version and operating system
These copies are called "After Effects Crash_1.aep", "After Effects Crash_2.aep" or something along these lines. If you are lucky the file will open and you will recover ur files, if you aren't lucky you can't open this file and your save is lost. Saved my ass many times.
