Dreams
As we all know, dreams are a mysterious thing. Nobody knows why it exists or what it's used for.

Many people have done research and have theories for dreaming, and yet nobody has found a real reason for dreaming. Five of the most supported are briefly explained here: http://health.howstuffworks.com/ment...eam.htm#page=0. The question here is: Which theory do you support and why? Remember that whatever theory you choose does not have to be from the link provided.

Personally, I believe that dreaming has to do with your brain functions like fear, happiness and other emotions and also things like your imagination, logic and a personality check. But, I'm too lazy to go hunt for evidence.

Nobody knows why Vitaly Zdorovetsky can pick up milfs so well, but it's good for him. I dunno if dreams are good, tho'. Maybe if people didn't have dreams they'd work harder to get shit irl. Dreams is like when person kinda forgets his daily reality, the dream reality can be different.

Do you, think the dreams of stupid people are stupid as well and come in more basic flavor with more basic ideas seen by those people in their dreams?
I think dreams are very important today. You kinda open your mind in your dreams and sometimes it can give you hope or solutions to problems you have to deal with irl. If there wouldn't be dreams, the whole life would be bound to the circumstances of where you were born, how much money you have, etc.

To your question, I think your dreams have a lot to do with what you have in your subconscious. You sometimes see people in your dreams which you thought you don't know, but it's often a person you just saw walking by and didn't recognize actively.

Also, you practically have endless possibilities in your dreams. You can learn lucide dreaming, and e.g. fly across your city or do the things you ever wanted to do. Here's a useful link: lucide dream

I believe that dreams are based off every piece of information that the brain has, be it thoughts, emotions or processes. From experience, dreams tend to be based off what I have thought before I slept (lying in bed). Sometimes, I am partially aware that I am dreaming, but I cannot control the dream (call it a semi-lucid dream, if you will). Even the weirdest of dreams can be related to previous experiences and thoughts.
I believe that dreams depend on the Information you recieved at the day b4. A few people might say: Lol but today I had a really bad day and my dream was wonderful ( I banged some bishes in a car nomnomnom).
I'd just say that this is a bit different, sometimes it thinks like: I'm really sad I'll keep being sad in my dreams because I cant think of anything else than that. And sometimes It'll say: I'm so sad... it has to get off me! Lets dream of something good happens so I might forget it.

I still think it depends on the day b4 :-D

It's the same thing as thinking on your own while conscious. Dreams are mearly the same thing, but more "real" to the mind since there's less for the mind to focus on while unconsious, than conscious.

To as why they can be potentially controlled (lucid dreaming). Is just imagination. Imagining stuff is all there is to it.

"Dear reader, I hope this email finds you before I do."

Yep. All day your brain is making thoughts on its own, but the majority of its power is being used for your senses.

When you're asleep, you disconnect from your senses, so all your brain has to work with is the thoughts and imagery it generates, and then it generates more based on that. A feedback loop.
Dreams are about desire and fear. Its highly emotionally involved, and weird. Its also one of the larger creative pulls for a lot of people. Writers will get a lot of shit from their dreams.

Also, MLK jr. had a dream, and do you see what happened to him?

Dreams might have different reasons for existing for different people for all we know.
