Astral Projection / Lucid Dreaming
Reading through "Kiribank"'s thread about the 4th dimension reminded me of something I read a while back. The thing I read about was Astral Projection. For those not familiar with Astral Projection or Lucid dreaming, I'll do a short synopsis. I'll start with Lucid Dreaming, since Lucid Dreaming (I'll refer to it as LD to save time) is the basis of Astral Projection.

Lucid Dreaming (LD): The ability to recognize that you are dreaming inside of your dream and the ability to control it. I know for a fact that this real, I have been able to Lucid Dream. When you think about actually controlling your dream, it isn't like "That desk will become a Lamborghini right... NOW! *POOF*" It's more of a "I recognize this is a dream, and I KNOW I can do this." So I'm able to do it. If I don't trick myself into actually believing that I can do it and hold a false notion, then I won't be able to make it come true.

Sleep Paralysis (SP): The state where your body goes to sleep but your mind is still awake and you're trapped and cannot move. Quite the scary experience if done accidentally.

Out of Body Experience (OOE): There have been many reports of an OOE, but nothing has been confirmed. An OOE is where your "spirit" detaches from your body and you're able to transfer to do whatever you like. But there are other beings out there, or so I've read. This is where the reptilians rule the world theory came from.

Astral Projection (AP): The ability to enter SP then consciously pull a copy of your conscious out of your body and into the world. It is achieved by after entering SP then making your mind reach a certain frequency to vibrate and then either roll out of your body, or visualize a rope and pull yourself out. This may be forced by other beings in the "other dimension". There is a tether connecting your mind to your body that if you even think about your body, you will be pulled back. It is very hard to achieve and requires a LOT of practice to even get the smallest amount of success. In this state, you can do anything and go anywhere. You are no longer bound by the laws of gravity or physics.

My question is: do you believe anything of the above? Many say they have talked to dead people, helped them into the light, meet up with others in AP, and even meet their Spirit guides/animals. But nothing has ever been confirmed.

A bunch of bologna or something that is true? Discuss below. Please respect each others ideals and no profanity.
Moldy robot you have heard of (SP), but what about entity attacks people often get them when they are sleeping, they become unable to move but can see everything however I am not sure why you implied (sp) is scary i would like to know^^, but for me there have been things or creatures that i have seen that resemble demons.

While it is not quite meeting dead people or spirit guides, I have had entity attacks before and i will say it is as close to astral projecting as it gets, the things you see are very much real and very scary so would that answer you question to seeing something^^?

I will become one of the greats, just like buakaw, saenchai and even sparky
I'm not denying that lucid dreaming does not exist or sleep paralysis doesn't exist either, because I have had the latter, however, people who spout nonsense about going into the light and meeting god are just being silly.

You see what you have been conditioned into. If you believe that when you die you will go to heaven, of course that is what you will see when you think you are on the verge of death, or having sleep paralysis (or an entity attack, which is the same thing by the way). Why do you think so many people, when they suffer a near-death experience on a medical bed say they met god and went towards the light. It's either because they made it up, or they saw what they expected/wanted to see.

I have not attempted lucid dreaming and I have not reached SP, and I have seen accounts of what you're saying, but would you mind saying exactly what happened to help everyone understand? Based on your explanation, it may help the discussion.

There aren't many situations where it isn't scary. I get sleep paralysis regularly and it freaks me out every time. I don't know if you have actually ever experienced it but when I wake up and remain stationary no matter how hard I struggle (usually hearing or seeing unsettling things), it's actually pretty horrible.

As for the hallucinations or 'entity attacks', I have heard lots of things that aren't actually there and I have only actually seen things in front of me a few times. Usually, the harder I try to escape the paralysis the worse it gets.

Astral Projection is an interesting one, I've only heard about it a few times but I was never familiar with what it meant until I came across this thread. The way I see it, it would be really hard to come to terms with what is happening enough to focus on trying to achieve it when you experience sleep paralysis. I always panic when I go into sleep paralysis so this got me thinking, maybe if I tried to stay calm and realised what was going on I could control what happens, a bit like lucid dreaming.

Maybe I'll try to make this happen and report back to you guys with the results.

For your first quote, its not the entity that's scary, but exactly what you said. Not being able to move no matter what, but still being conscious.

For your second point. As I said in my original post, it takes a LOT of experience to get anywhere near being able to get out. From my scour of the internet, I've come up with the two most "reliable" methods if you would like some advice. The first is to constantly visualize a rope above your body and then grabbing it with your hand. The real challenge is getting your arm out. Then you have to drag your whole body out. The other method is called "rolling out". you visualize yourself rolling out of your body. But remember, if you think about your body in any of the circumstances, you will be automatically drawn back in. And thanks for the offer, would love to hear about it.
I'm the same way coca, but opposite. I've always remembered my dreams with clarity.

But now, let me introduce another fact to you.

The first time I read about Astral Projection, I was doing research on the different types of Satanism. The type of Satanism was Spiritual satanism, where you have to make a bond to Satan. But the religion recognized that many young people would join them and said you could Astral Project to make a "fake" bond and to make it real later. Now would it make more or less sense for your Grandma to be there b/c of the concept of hell or because she was religious?
