America is far from being underprotected, We have 1,400,000 active personal aswell as 1,100,000 reserve according to
GFP. We are far from not having enough protection.

Any proof of how this would ruin the economy and cause wars or anything you're trying to argue?

America is a country of Immigrants, so I can only imagine that a lot of Americans have family in those countries and want support, that's just my hypothesis. That and we have this ideology that America is the greatest country in the world, obviously it's not true considering how much corruption we have along with all of our inequalities and broken healthcare system.
