For the most part, ISIS has lost pretty much every battle/conflict they have instigated. They fought Iraq and got slaughtered, the same thing happened in Russia. On top of that since august America AND Russia have been bombing the shit out of ISIS compounds and territory witch has proven to be very effective, they even airstriked the oil rigs owned by ISIS (witch is their main source of funding). All of this combined has caused them to lose tons of resources like ammo, heavy vehicles money and manpower to continue fighting.

Welll.. what do you know you live in the US.
And what do you even want to discuss. All I see is we beat the heck out of them....
And there isn`t only war, civilsists still live there, thousands of them are fleeing and ISIS is still terrorizing a lot of people.

i agree partly with Poop's post but your really going to say and i quote "what do you know you live in the US." just because we live in the US doesnt mean we are oblivious to other world issues

Even if they lost alot of their resources they are still a threat to us. You don't have to have lots of resources to cause terror
Terrorist usual motives are just to cause chaos not actually take over America I don't think anyone actually believes they could take it over but the motive of trying to cause as much terror as you can and mass shootings is something we have to worry about

Yeah. Also, look at how it's inspiring all of this islamophobia which creates divisions within society and which could radicalise otherwise moderate muslims. A good metaphor that I've heard about this is that it's like a dog with fleas (terrorists being fleas, the dog being America/the West). When a dog has fleas, the damage isn't coming directly from the fleas, it's coming from the dog biting and tearing into itself to try to get rid of the fleas. Terrorism creates fear and that fear causes us to turn on our fellow muslim citizens. This is exactly what the terrorists want, and the first rule of warfare is not to do what your enemy wants you to do - you don't help the enemy achieve their objectives. It's all good for the more rational of us to say that we should be aware of this and try to flank the terrorist's tactics, but it's such a primal reaction and it's very difficult for people to overcome it.

ISIS (and more broadly, Islamic extremism) is legitimately a big problem.

I agree with Poops post, but I still understand how effective racial segregation is and how much it could effect us. Obviously Islamic Extremism isn't going to cause WW3, but the paranoia against other cultures/religions/people that is increasing, may.

ISIS is funded my USA... ISIS will keep going on for as long as the US wants them to, which will either be the break out of WW3 (Russia and the west, since tensions are getting very high) or the total destruction of middle east .

The real threat is the west, which is just pure evil. (Not the individual brainwashed people but the "masters" who control the puppets, the puppets being David Cameron, Barrack Obama, etc).

America was behind 9/11 along with many other so called "terriost" attacks. No doubts the Paris attack was also some what planned, giving how conveniently it was timed and the suspicious circumstances surrounding it.

Every threat portraited in media is overly exaggerated. But as time goes by, people forget about it as usual and move on to new stuff, even so if this threat grows stronger. Take ebola for example, and yes i know it's not the same, since this virus killed more people than isis could in a certain period of time, but my point is that most of the fear of these threats is caused by the manipulation of the media on people. When the spotlight goes to another trend, people forget about it.

Of course there are exceptions, but isis is not one of them imo.

because US wants to, they want to split middle east so they can become weaker and weaker. also they want to make it weaker so they can take middle east's oil.
its a tricky strategy, weak it then take its resources.
