why does my flame look normal on my desktop pc but on my laptop its made of giant squares and looks horrible ._. plz help

You probably have a fpt in your custom file in your laptop

i just deleted the whole folder :/ still looks like squares

Delete flame.tga from your custom folder rather than the whole thing and then type: /DL skorban

there is no flame.tga .-.

Your laptop isn't a Mac, is it?
It should be named "flame" then, .tga is just the filetype.
If you still can't find the file, type /DL skorban and then /LP 0 skorban, and check for it again.
Also, please specify which exact folder you deleted.

im on pc not mac, i deleted the folder with my name in custom

This has happened to me before as well. For me, it affected all flames, unless they had an FPT. I'd guess it's the same with you, and I'd venture to guess that this isn't about FPTs at all, but something having to do with the default particle being screwed up. I fixed it by deleting toribash entirely and redownloading it. If it happens again, just keep redownloading.

Remember to back up your replays if you want to keep them.
