I find people complain ALOT about people using newb moves. What else do you guys expect newb's to do? They can't just learn the best moves within 5 seconds of joing the game. Yeah, maybe some 5h dans and stuff still use newb moves, but I see nothing wrong with that. It's a type of moves. You ever thought maybe the newb's don't like your moves? If you keep complaining that these newb moves are beating your moves, guess what. FIND ANOTHER MOVE. All moves can be beaten. You can't complain every single time your move loses to a newb move.

Well, i think ppl are angry for them becouse they are killing them with a SIMPLE move, when you are making pro relaxed kick, and you lose .

I use newb moves sometimes, but only in judo (hand slap rules), though in duels I use my own effective openers.

I don't really know why people complain about newb moves. Do people hate it because it's unoriginal? Do they find it difficult to beat? Or is it mainly because they hate it? I don't know, but I think they should stop complaining, like box said.

Sure they can be beaten. But in the case of the shovel it requires a specific type of move to counter it. Of course I can use a counter move everytime and do a streak 40 but that would be boring because I'd have to do exactly the same every time. I prefer reacting to what my opponent does but there isn't much to do if you run into a shovel without using a counter.

And anyway, as far as the shovel thing is concerned, people have different definitions of a shovel. My definition is a double hip grab and lift.

There are also idiots that bitch and moan about people lifting and pushing AT ALL, even if it is using hand grabs. Those people try to say that if you don't kick in aikido you're a nub shoveler. That's ridiculous though, because pushing can be countered at any time if a player is good enough. Just because you lift somebody into the air and push them out doesn't mean you are shoveling them.
