[TEX] Two heads
-Hey! Im working on this head based on a Tau soldier from Warhammer40k
Is still a wip and I would really like Cnc on this one
-The other head is a Draugr and I submited It for the Head of the month event
I think is pretty much finished but Ift you have any advices I would be happy to read

I used Krita to make these heads and both are 512x512 size

Tau

Draugr

VERY NICE!

Make your lines a little more subtle and I think it will be perfect

The first one is amaaaaazing

Can show them on a sphere?
the first head is amazballs, the second one just seem to long vertically. im sure you cod fix that tho and i would wonder how it would look.
also post ingame pic's of them pls?

the first head is really good, you should clean up some of the lines and make them blend in more. it kind of works with the robot theme to have black lines like that

the second head however needs more work. if you were going for a Draugr from skyrim I personally dont see the resemblance. again, the linework, only in this instance it doesnt work. The horn mapping looks off but horns are hard to map. I personally dont like the teeth
Could you post your reference for the draugr? If you were going for a skyrim-esque draugr i'd have to agree with Mzebra that the resemblance isn't really there.

The Tau head is coming out really good. Only thing I have to say is a word to wise not to forget to put some detail all around the head and not to just go heavily in the middle. I see a lot of people do this and it always leaves it with a weird look that it's half finished.
In my opinion I think you should add scratches or scuffs on the sides and back of the helmet on the second head texture.
Plottin' on me! They're plottin' on me!

Ok, first head is a Tau-ish Soldier, depth of the head overall is good, but then you look close and boom, light spots in weird places, map the head and proyect a imaginari light and see where shadows will cast. Also, bolts are way too 2D (I know it's WIP or whatever), and I don't recommend you to do something mapped that way, avoid it if you want, making it face to the camera, remember that it's mapped to a sphere, it's pointless to make details that you have to look from a weird angle. I'm not telling you to not doing it, just make it more natural. I'm pretty sure you know how to work on everything else.

The Draugr has better colouring work, more natural, but again, work on your lights and shadows, the horns don't have the pop-out effect they should have, maybe darker shadows will help. Other thing you did with the other head too is the light source, from what I see from the front, the light come from the top, but then you see the top and it has no light, like you forget about the top of the head. Remember that you are working on the same material as the front. Mouth needed more depth overall, but that's all.

Anyways, good progress, keep working.
The shading isn't too good
And the lines are eh dark I would say try making them more light
The lines also look very uneven and everywhere.
