Unless you can get millions of tc, you're probably not going to ever be popular from it. If you want to be regonized in the community, get involved by joining IRC and participate on the forums. Make mature posts and be at least ok overall with the staff.

If you actively do that, you should gain a form of popularity eventually.

Now, is it good to be popular? Personally, it isn't worth my time to aim for popularity. I enjoy the community and would rather chill out here.
