There's nothing special here and not too much to say about, but closing threads automatically after a week or less in some boards could end with the necrobumping thing.
It could be implemented in some boards like the Market (both items and art), discussions, off topic, rapid threads, and arts.

As long as it doesn't prevent the owner of the thread from reopening it (say they went inactive and stilled wanted to sell or whatever), and it's from the last post in the thread rather than the original, I don't see a problem with it.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that. And yes, a week after last post, so the thread is considered as dead.
