I don't know how it would be possible to do but would be alot easier for clans to search for Clan Wars using a Matchmaking system like we have for ranked matches.

I like this idea. It would make finding and starting wars much quicker and more efficient. However, unlike ranking, the factor of consensuality of the current war system definitely needs to stay constant. Having the ability to opt in or out of wars & granting members permits to negotiate "first to's" would be an important inclusion (as opposed to random matching at the first sign of clan availability to war).
