But anyways, I have seen some pretty bad behavior in the clan. The thread with this rude behavior is --> here click on it so you see what I mean.

Not good guys, yes he has left but there's no need to make fun of him or start a flame. This also goes against the rules.

Seriously guys we want to seem good to other players in the game but we won't do a good job at it if we act childish and disrespectful. So I don't want to see this happen again.

you know guys... I was wrong not you. I realised you guys only cared for the clan and that it was Swooya's behavior that was unacceptable. He tossed us aside like crap when we gratefully took him in. He also only stayed in for two weeks.

...all i can say about the second page of that thread is

EDIT:hmmm now that i read sahee's RA join thread.... Swooya is obviously casting his line into about fifty different clans (his sweet replays as bait) hoping they don't know he's going to stay a jolly weekend and do some sightseeing (mabye change his avvy a couple of times) (mingle with the locals), but seriously cmon dude.....

Alright heres the deal.
He joined, and left, wich was shitty.
But that is no reason to start uneccesary flameing, and spammage, that is downright immature, and makes us ALL lok like noobs I expected etter out of this clan... and you pookie. I would have closed and deleted the thread. But you insisted on, letting evoryone flame the member that left.
Im starting to get doubts about staying aswell... but I dont want to leave, ive been in this clan ever since it started but... I don't know.

I doubt that kind of treatment to a guy makes you or me look like a noob- clan. Now what kind of lame ass argument is that - we're looking noob to other people o:!? What should we do?!
Let me break it down for you, Tina.
There are more important things to consider when "evaluating a clan".
Few of them - which can be seen in this situation - are:

*Not running a background check on a guy who applies.
*allowing a clan hopper in.
* this leads to a "people that are actually in" thingy - how do THEY behave, - check out this guy's views on the whole swooya discussion here look how much he cares! :P you should probably be more careful with letting people in, my advise >.>
*Core members - you - questioning leader's decision publicly, (bleep)ing up - probably - some other member's morale, their trust in the clan's head man. Now that if you really cared about the clan "cause you're so long in it", and wasn't "noob" yourself in such cases, you'd know better how to deal with those situations. Provided you don't think so well as one might expected, I'll tell you what I mean - you should SUPPORT your leader, and go with what he does - if you can not think alike - then you've got more problems than the one you just brought up - about dissing a person who insulted you.
*now. you were (bleep)ed up by some random clan hopper. a tourist, like Shlimmy indicates.
Not messing with him back - sending a clear message to everyone, that leaving so soon, lying, clan hopping, and generally insulting all your clan is ok, and such guys should be free to continue doing so. In other words, you're showing to bend over and act like one spineless type of clans. That's cool, eh? Still think the things that happened were noob? Maybe you just lack imagination to see how it would look otherwise. If you do lack it- try not to be so convinced in your "if"s.
If you let that slide and bend over like that, that would clearly send a message you have no idea how to deal with such problems yet. And that's lack of experience, or if you preffer - that's this so-called being "noob".
After all, by trying not to be "noob", you'd be "noob", and bring so much problems on your head.

Which drives us to another point - possibillity (big one) of you making just an excuse to you leaving the clan. One "worthy, old and respected in Toribash" Evil member, as Pookie is kind to call you wondering if not to give the clan up, which respects him so much (what for, if all terty thinks about is if to bail out, or if not to bail out, rather than - how to fix the clan - if there's anything to fix really). It's like going sissy again. Now provided you weren't acting like a "noob" in this case too, growed yourself some balls and fix the problems, you're on the edge of leaving a clan, running like a... eh, young player, with no clan loyalty. You're better than that, if not - then eh, why should they miss you?

Now, such uniting the clan against the common "enemy" as such person who insulted you was, will take just a moment, (see things already settled out) but it shows who respects the clan, who doesn't. Who cares if it's hurt.

It will also send a clear signal (again) to all clan hoppers who will see what the hell happened here, and most possibly some of them will reconsider (bleep)ign their clans up.

other than that, swooya will probably settle down. He was burned for clan hopping and fire... burns. Now tell yourself what's worse - doing all that stuff above, or ranting at clan hopper?

Now the smack-talk was finished as soon as he stopped - at least in my vs his case. I started it yes, but seems many spineless people didn't start it for themselves, so I did it - too - for everyone who didn't, and SHOULD, do that already... ;)

P.S. Your first thought might probably be, that I'm not from this clan, so I'm not right, but the fact that I'm not in Evil only means I will not take out anything from it. Selflessly - not counting the fun, and satisfaction of an occassional rant every now and then ;P.

That's a good point though, Pookie. Clans that flame people all the time aren't looked at highly at all. Respect goes a long way.

i do agree pookie could have handled that thread differently, but Sahee makes a good point, Swooya drew a hopscotch game all over the clan boards, and no one should be surprised if our response was lacking courtesy.

So yea Sahee invaded and started an argument, but he was involved in this whole...deal as well. I guess our members just got caught up getting high off the exhaust of a professional flamer.

well tert, im not going to beg you to stay, only you can make the decision of what to do, but... good memories man, and if you do leave, make sure you keep in touch.

and look guys... if you checked out sahee's thread swooya told Sahee to stop and sahee did. But did you see him come back here and ask US to stop? No, you didn't. Listen [Evil] took him in gratiously, we thought his replays were cool, but then he leaves two weeks later saying "at this moment I don't need a clan". But after he left us he applied for other clans.

We need to balance this out. I mean, what's worse? Showing a clan hopper you don't like how he ditched or allowing this to slide and saying to your fellow members "don't be mean" and letting other clan hoppers get the picture we don't care. Well I for one DO CARE. And by having everyone show their anger on this guy we teach him a lesson and other future clan hoppers to not treat us like a pile of shit.

Terty... if you don't have faith in me then so be it. I'm not going to stop you from leaving, nor cry after you leave. If you don't have faith in ME or even [Evil] (which as you said you had been in forever) then I think you should leave. I'd rather have a non faithful member leave than stay in just because he was in the clan for his whole life.

whether you leave or stay just know that I'm doing everything I can and I'm not going to stand in the background while some dipshit clan hopper treats our clan like shit. No I'm going to show him how [Evil] feels wether we get people to hate us or not.
