It's been a while. Haven't had a ton of inspiration lately to do anything terribly groundbreaking, but here are a few kicks I've been toying with.

toeSpin is probably the best footwork I've ever done. If you watch the feet, you'll see what I mean. Partially inspired by failed attempts to do a giant swing.

capoeiraish is another possibility from the same start as toeSpin. The kick, incidentally, will cause a break even without extending the knee (with the knee relaxed).

quickDoubleKick is two kicks from the same leg, started with a variant on a wushu opener I like to use, even though it almost never works. I really like how Uke's relaxed arm stiffens up from the downward force.

What exactly does capoeira mean?

It's a martial art that developed in Brazil, under the guise of dance, so they say. Lots of throwing your weight around, angular velocity control, and straight leg kicks. Lots of emphasis on strength and agility. It's also the foundation for a lot of breakdancing.
