Oldschool G-Rap
Haters stay out.

Yeh, I was wondering if anyone of you here actually liked oldschool (gangsta?) rap.

One of the following artists maybe:
  • ................
    Mobb Deep
    Nas
    Eazy-E
    2Pac
    Biggie
    Eric B & Rakim
    B.G. Knocc Out & Dresta
    NWA
    Ice Cube
    Ice T
    Public Enemy
    Big Daddy Kane
    Compton's Most Wanted
    Too $hort
    Kid Frost
    Eric B & Rakim
Dj Polo & Kool G Rap
    Mad CJ Mac
    Mc Ren
    Snoop Dogg
    Dr Dre
    etcetc.

Bold artist names are the ones that (in my opinion) didn't really keep it real and changed a lot to the negative later on.

Anyways, if you like one of these artists feel free to chit chat in this little rap-tavern, heh. I'm just curious since most of the community seems to be into rock/metal.

I am quite the Eazy-E fan. I like every member of NWA though, and I will cry the day Snoop Dogg dies.
Tre!
I completely hate all other rap music, but I like Public Enemy, NWA and especially Compton's Most Wanted. And nothing else.

Only rap I listen to is like, Fort Minor (if you can even call that rap), and some Busta Rhymes, because he did some cool shit with Linkin Park.
Public Enemy Is not really gangsta rap... Its Political/conscious rap.
Anyway, I'm not a big fan of the average gangsta rap.
I like Nine though.

I really need to get more oldskool records. I only have Public Enemys It takes a nation... and N.W.A straight outta compton and they both kick ass.

You probably need some Dr Dre (the Chronic), KRS - ONE, and De La Soul. De La Soul is excellent.
