whenever i try to open any thread in blog news, i get a fatal error

I think the boards are still being worked on I've had that a lot today.

hit F5 until they work

servers have been going wack recently they evantually fix themselves within about 2 minutes

ah. yeah it works now.

Hampa's ordering some hardware to fix this problem. We just need to sit tight & wait till it's permanently gone.
