Video Making Tips
Yar I is gonna make a new computer soon with my dad and it will be shaders compatible :ooo (finally my sister won't have a better comp than me)

So since there are some epic vid makers in this clan I would like tips :ooo cause I'm gonna make a vid... hopefully before my patience gives way and I scrap the idea... but anyways ya... anything specific I should pay attention to for a first vid attempt?

Also just because you haven't made a vid doesn't mean you can't be critical about them so post your throughts as well even if you have no vid making experience.

Particularly on song choice. I always find one really good song then somebody capitalizes it before I do <.< So I run out of songs quite fast... so music genres good for vids would be appreciated :P

Almost forgot, software that you'd use as well. Can't make a vid without good software
nyan :3
Youtube Channel i sometimes post videos of other games
Good soft ware hmm, :D

Stuff i use..

Adobe Premiere pro
Adobe After effects
Adobe Photoshop..

allso if you need some tuts for After effects www.videocopilot.net is a good place to start off..

:D hope you can use some of this..

and good genres of music for vids,, ill say "electronic house music".. When i get back home from Florida i can write some names of some songs, that I think would be great for a video.. :)

right, software is easy, vid makers like me and rutz (im pretty sure he does anyway) use Fraps to record and Sony Vegas pro 8.0 to edit (PM me if u need a link for a free download to them).

Music choice is all a matter of style - i prefer jazz *points to hexed and fisting* where as most people, including chez and mosier, prefer drum and bass. If you want to see what i mean by 'its a matter of style', just look at FNugget's vids: Twist and Shout and Unleash the Awesome/Attacked have very diverse music choices, yet are pulled off VERY well. FNugget also said he was going to make a vid using rap music in the near future just to prove it can be done. So basically, you just need to find a style that suits you and that you find easiest to edit and sync to. Just please make sure you avoid Pendulum simply because it's too predictable and cliché.
