is there anyway to get a mirror mode on gimp. so its symmetrical?

in the layer bar, there are a small i con with a sheet image. click it, and make the widht half of the image ( if you make 512 head, put it 256)

Press P to instantly use Pen tool. If you don't know how to make line, click left mouse button ( don't release it ) then make a line, then release it. Well i think that's the basic lol. Just tell me if you need to know anything else.

I can do that xD I mean when i try closing the gap nothing happens. How do I like finish/close the shape so I can fill it
