Show me evidence that the tooth fairy does not exist.

The default is to believe he doesn't exist - disbelief in any proposition requires no evidence. Athiesm is the default position. The burden of the proof lies with the person making the claim of existence: if you make no claims you need no proof. Absence of evidence is in fact evidence of absence.

Christopher Hitchins put it beautifully: 'What can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence'.

I swear atheists are no better then Christians sometimes. If you look up the world eternal it means (paraphrasing a bit) "To that without an end" In the world of science there is no such thing. But look at our universe. Do you honestly believe that there is an end to it? If you do then you are not as intelligent as you once thought you were. So what my point is, God is ETERNAL. He doesn't have to have a rhyme or reason to what he does, how he appears, or even how he is portrayed. So to try and bash religion just cause you can't see/hear/touch/smell/taste something to say it's not real? I could the say the same for air. We can't see/hear/touch/(for the most part) smell or taste it. So does that mean it doesn't exist? I know your going to say something along the lines of "Well we tested it and found out it is there and there is scientific evidence to prove it" But science can't save you every time. So think about statements before trying to put scientific knowledge into a bashing remark against religion. Well actually just against faith, religion to me is the organized version of faith. So think about statements before trying to put scientific knowledge into a bashing remark against FAITH
But in all reality... I think I might be insane...

Incorrect. God not existing is already asserted.

I am saying that Ray is relying on logical fallacies to try and prove God's existence. It's pointless to present any argument that relies solely on a logical fallacy.

If you can think of a legitimate argument, then you are going to need to present proof.

I agree, Ray should stop presenting logical fallacies. God doesn't exist no matter how he twists words, so it's pointless.

According to basic logic, there is no evidence that God exists, ergo, he does not exist.
Asking someone to prove a negative is a violation of basic logic.

As I said to Ray, this is the burden of proof fallacy. You are asking us to prove that you are wrong, when you do not even bother to prove that you are right. If you have not proven that you are right, we have no obligation to prove you are wrong.

Hence, you are wrong, God does not exist.

We can see and feel the effects of air. Ever wondered why trees move?

Also, please show me where I've 'bashed religion'. All I'm doing is asking why 'he' hasn't made an appearance. How can you put so much faith into something that no one has ever seen the effects of. Why have there been no miracles for the past 2000 years? If I came round and chopped off your arm, could you pray it back on? How can you have faith in a deity that, it seems, can do literally nothing?

we all know that we are limited craetures, have our beginning and our end ( death is evolution tool to keep our breed always "up to date"and make sure we are always change according to surroundings ), so we seek for beginning and the end of everything world/universe etc, this is normal to think like that, and this is why we imagine god, make up big bang theories etc. because it's quite crazy thing to get that our realm have no beginning and no end, we are mortal and live limited time, so we can't really imagine what ethernal is.

all misbeliefs, faith, social organization etc all comes from our animal origin. this is it.
try reading "on agression" by Conrad Lorenz and you will see that so called "laws" by god and other shit is just an evolution mechanism which is no different for other breeds.

the only thing that evolution care is survival and adaptation of any breed. we are very self-centric. and we don't want to accept that we are ( individuals ) are merely important.

we are just leafs on tree of genetic code, we grow, get green, get yellow and drop, and new ones grow. but tree stay here anyway. our gene code.

try to think from that perspective and everything will become logical. social processes atleast. and may be you will stop imaging some stuff like heaven or hell or like anybody give a shit about us individuals.

Why are people who can barely understand advanced concepts regarding conception arguing whether or not there is a god? Religion isn't only about god, religion is a collection of belief systems, cultural systems, and world views that relate humanity to spirituality and, sometimes, to moral values.

Again, look at my argument. I believe I am completely right in asserting myself as the superior dirt particle in the hill, as I recognize the rest of the hill for what it is.

Given enough knowledge on how the brain works, it would be possible to fully program sentient beings such as ourselves.

All i see on this forum are people saying, why do you believe in god, how do you know he exist, disprove god. I would like to see one well written paragraph on why god does or does not exist, and then I will formulate my own opinion.

about religion and moral values, please read "on agression" moral also come from our animal origin, so it's clearly not like god or religion or people invented morals.

Well then you are asking the wrong person. Again religion is about personal preference. People need god for different reason, looking for answers, need help, want to believe in something, etc...

Why do you believe in God? I believe in god because it is better to believe and be wrong than it is to not believe at all.

Answer me this.
Why do you not believe in god?
