Probably because, same as any other game company, they don't let anyone to see beta ver of their game. Only for news-people and those that pledged more than 50 USD, and are playing it as we speak.

Considering that game will be 60 USD when it come out, I think this is a good bargain, and I have access to beta, which is still in modular phase, just hangar to test your load-out and some basic flight. A bit choppy on my current rig above low settings, but I'll have new one by the 2014. :]
