Hello! I’d first like to thank you for joining and staying with us here at NYAA. It’s been fantastic having you, and I hope after reading this message that you decide to stay with us through this turbulent time of change. The leaders and executives of NYAA have decided, in order to promote activity within the clan, that we will rewrite some of our rules and guidelines, as well as begin planning some events.
Our guidelines will be changed to better promote activity and communication within the clan, so we become less of a motley group of people, and more of an organized group of friends. Some of the changes we are planning to make are:
All members should:
Post in the clan thread at least twice a week
AND/OR
Maintain activity in the clan Skype chat
Along with these new guidelines come a few new rules:
All posts should be relevant and useful.
No posts should be of scarce quality, and should have no less than two words.
We also are in the process of planning some in-clan/in-alliance(Vibe, Tau, Haunted?) events. One such event that has been on my mind is a soccer tournament, of which the winner will receive a 5k-10k tc prize (depending on how many members participate), and recognition on our clan page. This will take place one or two weekends from now, depending on how quickly people respond and reserve their spots in the brackets.
As a result of these internal changes in NYAA, we are undergoing a unique and possibly too complex system to weed out the inactive members. All members should reply to this post within a week, or they will be kicked from the clan. If you should so like, you can reserve a spot in our upcoming tournament at the same time.
